    I can't believe that it is already the middle of January! Carrie has had very exciting past few months!! It's all been really great!! My good news is that my parents just booked us a weekend in BERMUDA in February!! I AM SO EXCITED! Because I travel SO much for softball, to like CA, TX, FL, CO, OK and tons of other places we have never had any time to actually go on a real vacation..and spring break is consumed with school ball so we ar egoing for 5 days in Feb! I am totally psyched! and the weekend before we are going up to Vermont to get a long weekend of skiing in! Very excited..now I just have to get through midterm exams this week!

  • ASA SOFTBALL NATIONALS

    Alrighty..so I just came back from Oklahoma City, OK! My team played in the ASA 18U Gold Nationals. This is the highest level of play before college and the USA Olympic team. We played girls that had already played in their first year of college at the BEST softball programs around...those kind of schools are like Arizona, Oklahoma, UCLA..and we faced girls you are going to those schools! Long story short, we did SO good while we were there. We got to play at the ASA softball Hall of Fame Stadium...if you ever watch Team USA play or the softball college world series on TV, this is the field where they play! We ended up placing 7th in the COUNTRY! This is the farthest any northeast team has ever gone, because the Florida, Texas, California teams, and those who have warm weather all the time, can play all year round like everyday and we have to go inside, so this was a huge accomplishment! I can't believe we did that well but it was FANTASTIC! So we are the 7th best softball team in the country other than college teams..but we would probably beat some of them too! Except for like the Pac10! So that was a highlight of my summer..and I got to go to Oklahoma..HOME OF CARRIE UNDERWOOD! and I also got to see Checotah which was awesome!! So very good week!!!

    This summer has been interesting and busy...It all started with a weekend in Missouri for a softball tournament. When we won that tournament it qualified us to go to Oklahoma City. It is the best of the best in the entire country. Like these are the girls who are going to the best softball colleges and then the Olympic softball team is made up of girls from those colleges..so basically it is amazing to be part of this! I spent a week in Colorado for a softball college showcase and then came home for a day and went straight to Boston. I went up there because my brother had college orientation and then I went to look at some schools as well! Then I came home for a weekend and went to the beach and went out on my boat and then left for California. We stayed there a week for a softball college showcase and ended the week with a Sugarland and Keith Urban concert in LA but Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland lost her voice so they couldn't perform. I was CRUSHED! Lady Antebellum filled in for them and the concert was great but Sugarland is freakin' awesome! Then I took a red eye home and slept the next day away and now here we are! I actually have a little less than a week off then we have a tournament here in New Jersey and then right from there I leave for Oklahoma City, OK! I am hoping to maybe be able to see or drive past Checotah! It would make the trip awesome!! I'll spend a week there and then only have 3 weeks of summer left and hopefully it will be sunny so I'll just relax at the beach and hopefully get up to Connecticut to see my family up there and spend time at their beach! So yeah my social life is GREAT!! hahaha! But I love what I do so its fun and totally worth it!!

    Hey Kristen!! How are you? We haven't talken on this site in a while! That sounds awesome about going to Bermuda! I cruised there about three years ago. Anywhere warm is so great to visit! :) Have you picked up a copy of the Cosmopolitan Magazine? She looks Gorgeous in it!!! I will be attending two of her upcoming Concerts in March! I can't wait!!! I got second row tickets to one of them, yay!!! I also entered the "Meet and Greet" for both! Hope I get chosen!!! How is everything going for you? School? Softball?     Hey!!! Yup, I am BEYOND excited!!!!! I am still in shock that I will be seeing her live this weekend!! The only negative thing is ...I just flew home from Florida yesterday, and I will be going on another plane this Friday. I do not like flying in airplanes! ...Lol. Otherwise, I am extremely happy to be seeing her in person again!!! I will definetaly have pictures of the concert, as well as of the Bahamas!! :-) It's been fun talking to you on Facebook also.     Hey girl! Thank you...I am very excited myself about seeing her there! I will most definetaly have pictures!!! :-) Yes, I watched the CMA Awards and thought Carrie and Brad did a wonderful job hosting!! Also, her performance was AWESOME!!!! You are right lol Carrie is going to be on the AMA's next week, along with almost every TV channel haha! My calendar is booked up with her show listings! I can't wait for Thanksgiving and then Christmas! WOO HOO!!! I love the Holidays!! My cats are good, thanks! Sounds good about Facebook. I am "hidden" so we would need to be on at the same time.     Hey! Yup I was SOOOOO excited to see her at the show!!! I was fortunate enough to get in because someone had an extra ticket. I was beyond thankful! I actually have pictures from the show on my Facebook. And, yes, my mom received an e-mail about her going to the Atlantis. No one knows about it lol. It appears to be private or something because it's not on her site. Wierd!!! I will definetaly have pictures though!! Would be awesome if you go also because the room will be so small, that we could most probably meet. Yay!! I am happy for you that you enjoy traveling so much. How fun!! What else is new?     Hey!!!!!! Thank you - It's my first teaching degree! WOW! You have been all around the world LOL. Are you tired from traveling to Texas, Florida, then to California??? I hope you've been having a SUPER time!!! YES - I bought PLAY ON the day is was sold. It is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I actually saw Carrie at Live with Regis and Kelly this past Thursday. It was awesome to see her in person!! And, my parents surprised me and I will be going to see her perfom Live at the Atlantis, in the Bahamas, in December. I am so happy! I couldn't believe it!!!     Hey! It's good to know school is going well for you! Yes, college is actually going great. I am so happy! My classes are going well, along with the parking. Do you like your teachers?     Hey!!! How are you? College is going very well for me, thanks for asking! I thought it would have been much worse actually lol because I started at a whole new University....but the parking hasn't been too bad and the classes are going well, so I am happy! How is school going for you? Yup, I know!!!! Her new single is AWESOME!!! It makes me much more eager to hear the rest of her new songs! Did you get invited to the CMT Invitation Only? I didn't. O well! Yes....I heard about what happened to Taylor Swift but I wasn't actually watching it at the time. I heard it was bad, though! Uh oh. When does Softball start up again? Have a great day!

    Hey, thanks! I am nervous about starting at a new college but everything should go well. I start classes today. I have an Infant and Toddler course, along with a course called "Disabled People in America". Hopefully they won't be too hard! You are lucky that you can enjoy another week off lol. Carrie's NEW single has been released! SO EXCITING!!! It's called "Cowboy Casanova". Its GOOD!!! Go onto her other website to listen to it! I hope you enjoy your time off from Softball until it starts up again. You do AWESOME with that sport!!! Any other travel plans before school? Sounds good about the holiday songs.     Hey! You don't ever need to be sorry lol it's ok! I also get busy, so no worries! I am also very excited for Carrie's new single, as well as her new CD!!! I can't wait!!!!! Do you think she will tour again? I hope your brother enjoys going to college in Boston! I really enjoyed my previous college that I graduated from in May.
